Lincoln Police get well 17 computer systems stolen from Northwest Excessive College

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Division says greater than a dozen computer systems that belong to a brand new Lincoln highschool had been stolen and later present in a automobile and bushes.

On Sunday, round 10:30 p.m. LPD officers and firefighters with Lincoln Hearth & Rescue had been dispatched to NW thirty eighth and W Webster Streets on a report of a grass hearth.

In accordance with police, a car was parked close by with its doorways open. LPD stated responding officers discovered computer systems with Lincoln Public Faculties labels contained in the car.

Investigators stated a complete of 17 computer systems had been recovered and believed to be stolen from the brand new Northwest Excessive College storage closet. LPD stated the storage closet was entered by a broken deadbolt.

LPD stated the varsity system is engaged on a listing to ensure no different electronics are lacking, however all the computer systems that investigators know of to be lacking have been recovered.
